You’ll find the difference in the flavor…

At La Finca Chiquita, we take great pride in using the freshest ingredients, cooked using the traditional methods our parents taught us, to bring a unique Tex-Mex experience to our guests. Our recipes have been handed down from one generation to the next—and it’s now Chef Oscar Cavazos’ responsibility to carry on this one-of-a-kind cooking tradition!

The results? Delicious home made food that you can’t get anywhere else, like our three signature salsas we offer you the minute you sit down at our tables. Spice up your meal with one salsa or all three!

Our most popular recipes include our Chile con Queso, Chile Relleno, and our hand-rolled enchiladas!

Oscar Cavazos
Son of original La Finca owners Jose and Olga Cavazos, Oscar grew up in Gilmer, Texas, with the first La Finca right in his back yard. His cooking style has its roots in the Northern Mexican state of Nuevo Leon, where many members of his family still live.

Ashley Cavazos Although they didn’t realize it at the time, La Finca Chiquita owners Ashley and Oscar Cavazos first met at La Finca in Gilmer in 1988 as children. Oscar was the “chip boy” for his parents when Ashley was in town visiting her aunt and uncle—who always brought her to La Finca for dinner. However, the two didn’t officially meet until the day Ashley came into the original Allen La Finca on Bethany Drive to apply as a bartender. And the rest is history…

Hurry into La Finca Chiquita and taste the experience!
